2019 Q1 Gundaker Commercial Industrial Report

The St. Louis industrial market recorded  -585,038 SF of net absorption during 1Q 2019. Direct net absorption totaling -570,688 SF of
absorption with Sublet net absorption totaling -14,350 SF for 4Q 2018. The amount of vacant square footage increased from 7,873,124 SF in
4Q 2018 to 8,169,862 SF at the close of 1Q 2019. The total vacancy rate increased from 5.1% in 4Q 2018 to 5.3% at the close of 1Q 2019. Overall asking rents increased from $4.29 PSF in 4Q 2018 to $4.30 PSF at the close of 1Q 2019.
